Join the UWAASA committee
It is essential that we have a strong UWA focused staff association that can address the specific needs and responses of the academic community in UWA. UWAASA would like to have a higher profile and address specific issues that affect academics at UWA: intellectual freedom, workloads, academic standards and collegiality.
If you feel strongly about these and other issues and would like to have your say, please consider joining the UWAASA committee which meets monthly, usually on the third Thursday of each month in the lunch hour.
Elections for the July 2024 to June 2025 term will be held in the first semester of 2024. Nominations will be called for and members are encouraged to nominate for the coming term. All UWAASA Members are welcomed to committee meetings as observers.
