Tuesday 18 August 1pm-2pm in the Austin Lecture Theatre, Second Floor, Arts Faculty.
The replacement of Moodle with Blackboard has been a significant development. Professor Gilly Salmon, Pro Vice Chancellor (Education Technology), has listed the projects success factors and risks (see attached flyer). It is timely to apply our collective wisdom to take stock of how the project is progressing and see what has gone well (or not), what lessons we might learn and what we might improve.
Following a very brief welcome from me, attendees will be invited to relate their experiences. Professor Alec Cameron, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Education), has kindly accepted an invitation to attend and indicated that others from his office, including Professor Salmon, are likely to join him. Professor Cameron has advised he is happy to listen and take questions, if asked. We all agree the principal aim is to hear from the users of Blackboard.
All interested parties are welcome.
